A Justice-Filled, Heart-Warming, Snowy Success!

Thanks to everyone for a tremendous day! Despite the treacherous beginnings, the 18th Annual Summit Against Racism plowed ahead, mostly as planned.  We met new people, had interesting conflicts, shared ideas, strategies, songs, resources, and LOOKED REAL NICE! We missed all those who couldn’t make it!!

Did you knowIMG_0531 that, yesterday, about 500 people came through the snow and 28 sessions manifested?

…that Fight for 15 took a crew to McDonald’s to do an action during the first session?

…that young leaders of the Black Student Union sat down with the Mayor and shared feelings & differing perspectives about gentrification in East Liberty?

…that the family art table realized a collective vision for a City of Justice?
